Foreign Policy

The safety of America and its people as well as a peaceful world are built on the strength of our leadership, diplomacy and geostrategic relationships with our allies. The United States has in the last two years aligned itself with non-democratic regimes that regularly violate human rights. We need to correct course and do what is necessary to re-assert our allegiance to democratic countries with common values, while working to elevate democracy and human rights across the world. Kai also supports the recently passed legislation invoking the War Powers resolution to end the U.S. involvement in Yemenʻs civil war and supports the repeal of the 2001 AUMF with a new authorization that clearly defines the enemy, our mission objectives and includes a definitive sunset provision.
